Holocaust theology

The problem of evil cannot be truly confronted without finding a theological argument that explains the Holocaust. Film clips from Schindler’s List (the girl with the red dress) or The Pianist (the scene where the Nazis throw a wheelchair-bound man out of a window for not standing up) stir us to confront the appalling nature of these crimes. One third of Jewish people were murdered in the Shoah, or Holocaust.
